The band titled Fury brings a new sound to hardcore with their very atmospheric songs that feel as if they are taking you on a whole new journey and painting it in your mind. Fury is from Orange County, California which is where a lot of other hardcore bands are from but despite this, they certainly stand out and break the typical mold. The band is signed to Triple B Records as well as Run For Cover Records. Triple B helps produce heavier bands while Run for Cover is much mellower. Fury first came around back in 2014 with a six-song demo and has been creating wonderful jams ever since. The artwork for Fury's merchandise is extraordinarily unique to them, it feels very chaotic but in an entertaining fashion. One of the band members described some of their artwork as charcoal inspired as the colors are dark and feel very rough. Their sound encapsulates them as refined chaos very similarly to their graphical themes. I discovered Fury with their album Failed Entertainment which quickly became one of my favorite albums of all time and helped me bridge the gap from mellower rock to hardcore. The songs on this album are so powerful in their sound and transport your mind to an entirely different plane. Several of my friends who now listen to hardcore were introduced largely by this album which they had found on their own intuition which is quite cool.
