If you didn't know about it, check out this post by u/tussosedan where he explains how the averages were calculated before. Basically, you can get a way more meaningful average by removing the outliers - normally 5% of your worst and best solves - and calculating your average with only the remaining solves. This is how it's done in timers like csTimer.

I love Twisty Timer, and it's my main timer for over a year now. I've been using its backup files to do my own analysis on the data, and noticed that for ao50/100/1000 I'm getting different results. After checking my numbers several times, and cross-referencing with cstimer, I started to suspect a bug in Twisty Timer.

The correct way to calculate aoX is to remove 5% of solves from each side, rounded up. So for ao50 remove 3 top and 3 bottom, for ao100 5 top and 5 bottom, and for ao1000 50 top and 50 bottom. (This is also how it's done by cstimer.)

Enter your own scrambles! You can now tap the little pencil icon in the scramble box, and input any scramble for you to solve again. If it's in a valid format (WCA notation), the timer will even generate an image of it.

Inspection alerts: These are disabled by default. By enabling them, the timer will alert you when 8s and 12s of the inspection time has passed, with either a loud beep or a vibration (or both). If you select a custom inspection time, it'll alert you at 50% and 80% of the remaining time.

I would like to know if anyone knows how to make a stopwatch timer in flutter, so that when you press anywhere on the timer area the time starts and then do the same thing to start it. I want to have milliseconds and seconds visible, but then when the seconds reach 60 the minutes show and the seconds start back at 0,1,2... fill free to look at "twisty timer" in the play store to see what I mean.

I'm the dev behind Twisty Timer, an Android timer app.

As some of you may know, Twisty Timer is an open source project, so anyone can access the code, play with it and see how it works. If someone manages to fix a bug or add something new, they can submit their changes and, once I approve them, see them in the official app.

Online Rubik's Cube speedsolving timer with built-in scramble generator for WCA twisty puzzles. The stopwatch collects and analizes training statistics, calculates averages for 5 and 12 times and shows the evolution of performance on a graphical display. Inspection time, customizable design and various other options help you enjoy your puzzle practice. Save your times and statistics to the cloud or in a text file. Export your preferred settings and save them in a custom link.

Press the space button on your keyboard or click/touch the main timer until the green light indicates that the timer is ready to start. Release the key and press it again to stop the counter when you finished the solution. Add +2 or DNF penalties, according to official WCA regulations if necessary.

Choose to hide certain interface panels while the timer is running or hide the timer itself and reveal the result only when the timer has stopped. Set the program to clear the recorded results after every five measurements.

My problem is that I had more than 2000 solves of my time solving the cube, I always tracked my progress. I can't anymore because I lost the data as it was not saved locally. I don't want the data of the other apps, I would like to get only the data from this app, the name of the app is twisty timer.

I tried to use adb and bmgr, but I can't manage to make it work. I do not find the package name, it seems to be com.aricneto.twistytimer... And when I try to restore from the old save nothing works, and it says in logcat 2351a5e196
