Inspired by the enduring charm of Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, TWISTER TALK™ reimagines a classic pronunciation pattern as a lively, letter-by-letter storytelling format for today’s children.
First published in 1813, Peter Piper was designed to sharpen articulation through rhythmic repetition and spoken challenge. Its simple structure made it memorable, performative and satisfying to master, qualities that still resonate today.
TWISTER TALK™ builds on that foundation, combining repetition, questioning and character-led wordplay to transform speech practice into joyful performance. With bold illustrations and contemporary characters, it brings a time-tested idea to life for a new generation.
The TWISTER TALK™ Book Series
At the heart of TWISTER TALK™ is a growing A-Z series of books for children aged 4-8, bringing playful language, characters and rhythm to life. Each of the three books builds confidence and fluency through joyful repetition, spoken language and character-led play, with every tongue twister designed to be personalised with the child's own name.
