Meet Me Under Our Picnic Tree
(Entry for XP Pen Nature's Canvas Drawing Contest)

This illustration is my entry for XP Pen's Nature's Canvas Drawing Contest last March to April 2025.

Here's the description I wrote alongside my entry:

"Meet me under our picnic tree" is inspired from a Croton plant that sits beside a line of rocks in our garden one weekday morning.
I imagined an ant could be sitting on one of the rocks under the plant and could be sharing his food.
The idea then grew as I draw the illustration for this contest and turned into a full picnic with other tiny creatures.
We sometimes look past the short plants and tiny animals when thinking about nature, so I think they could be highlighted too in this event.
