How to Create an Account for Streaming YouTube TV?

Follow these steps to create an account:


  1. Open your browser and go to mail.google.com and click on the Sign-up button

  2. Enter the details asked and click on “Submit”.

  3. Then provide the OTP you have received in your register mobile number.

  4. Complete all other on-screen instructions and you will get your account.

  5. Now go to tv.youtube.com/start and click on “Sign In with Gmail” and link your account with YouTube TV.

  6. Also, give permissions to Google to keep your data safe by click on “Allow Access” when asked.

Activate YouTube on Roku

  1. Connect Roku to your TV and log into your Roku account.

  2. Go to Home screen and click Channel Store

  3. Navigate to Top Free option and choose YouTube.

  4. Select Add Channel option and press OK.

  5. YouTube channel should now be added to My Channels section.

  6. Open YouTube channel and sign in and provide your YouTube account details.

  7. Roku will provide YouTube activation code on your screen.

  8. Open your web browser and visit tv.youtube.com/start

  9. Sign in to your YouTube account and then, you will be asked to enter 8 digit code which was given by Roku.

  10. Enter the code and you are ready to stream YouTube on Roku.
