Hello, I recently got a Pixma MG2522 printer and im trying to get it to connect to my Chromebook. Which is not windows or mac. Hopefully you know what it is because im not good with computers. My printer does not connect to wifi of course. Ive tried to go to the website to download the software for the printer but its only for windows, Macbook, Windows rt, i believe. Im hoping someone can help me figure this out. it kind of weird. I believe when i plug the USB cord into my computer it shows up as a Canon MG2500 series (USB). I click on that and then it says Add Printer Manually. So I click Canon under "Manufacturer" but i dont see my printer option under Model. Which i assume the model is MG2522? or it says "or specify your own driver" which i dont know what that means. Please help....

Chromebooks do not use drivers to install printers. They use Google Cloud print. There are two methods of printing with Google Cloud print, using a Google Cloud Print ready printer or setting up the service on your computer.

Hi James, What if you can't do either one? I added my printer to another laptop I had, but now I got a new laptop & it's way different setup then usual so i'm not used to it. How do I set it up on this new laptop?

The only print option with a Chromebook is to use Google Cloud Print, which requires a network connection, and I'm afraid that the MG2500 series is USB only. A network-capable printer would be required. I regret any inconvenience.

Printing from a Chromebook requires a printer that can be connected to a wireless network. No drivers have been developed for the Chrome OS so, even if connected with a USB cable, it would be unable to communicate with your printer. I am not aware of any way to print from Chromebook to a USB printer.

I have the CP1025nw connected to my network. Using a Windows PC, printing is fine. However, setting up the printer under an ASUS Chromebox is all fine until I get to the "Choose Driver" box. A specific driver for this printer does not exist. What do I choose or what other options do I have? I've tried several drivers but nothing works.

I tried to get around the driver issue by enabling Web Services and connected the printer to ePrint. It shows up under HP Connect and I have connected it to Google Cloud Print. The printer show up, I'm able to share it, I'm able to send a print job but nothing prints. The status in Google Cloud Print shows "in-progress" and stays like that.

Check with Chrome OS and see if they have a print driver solution for your OS. Many mobile OS's have some kind of built in print driver functionality that allows them to work with basic printer models and features. Chrome likely has something that will work for your printer model but all of the features may not be available.

Thank you for your reply. There is a generic driver but that doesn't work. In any event, I have gotten Googel Cloud printing working ... sporadically. I have discovered that the Web Services does not stay connected. As a result, the defined ePrint printer in HP Connect loses connection. Therefore Google Cloud doesn;t knowwhere to send the print job. When theprinter decides to enable Web Services, the print jobs come out.

Well, I have given up with Web Services so I have disabled it on the printer. I have the printer defined to my PC so I've simply added it to Google Cloud Print as a classic printer. I went all the way around and back to get to this solution

Success ... if I print B&W however if I try to print in colour, the page is all black with most of the text in white. The correct driver is defined in Google Cloud Print. Not sure where to go from here. I would like to print in colour.

Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database (TimesTen) is a relational database that is memory-optimized for fast response and throughput. The database resides entirely in memory at runtime and is persisted to the file system.

Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database in grid mode, or TimesTen Scaleout, refers to a multiple-instance distributed database. TimesTen Scaleout is a grid of interconnected hosts running instances that work together to provide fast access, fault tolerance, and high availability for in-memory data.

TimesTen alone refers to both classic and grid modes (such as in references to TimesTen utilities, releases, distributions, installations, actions taken by the database, and functionality within the database).

TimesTen Application-Tier Database Cache, or TimesTen Cache, is an Oracle Database Enterprise Edition option. TimesTen Cache is ideal for caching performance-critical subsets of an Oracle database into cache tables within a TimesTen database for improved response time in the application tier. Cache tables can be read-only or updatable. Applications read and update the cache tables using standard Structured Query Language (SQL) while data synchronization between the TimesTen database and the Oracle database is performed automatically. TimesTen Cache offers all of the functionality and performance of TimesTen Classic, plus the additional functionality for caching Oracle Database tables.

Oracle Database documentation is also available on the Oracle documentation website. This may be especially useful for Oracle Database features that TimesTen supports but does not attempt to fully document, such as OCI and Pro*C/C++.

TimesTen supports multiple platforms. Unless otherwise indicated, the information in this guide applies to all supported platforms. The term Windows applies to all supported Windows platforms. The term UNIX applies to all supported UNIX platforms. The term Linux is used separately. Refer to "Platforms and compilers" in Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database Release Notes (README.html) in your installation directory for specific platform versions supported by TimesTen. 152ee80cbc
