Specific errors shown below:

1. Signed in to a Google account that is not a YRDSB GSuite (@gapps.yrdsb.ca) account (all browsers)
2. Not signed in to a Google Account at all (most browsers).
3. Not signed in to a Google Account (Edge browser).

Cause: This error is caused because you are signed into your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Edge, etc.) with another Google account (perhaps a Gmail or GSuite for work account). This form is only set up to work with YRDSB GSuite accounts. That's to ensure we know who the post is coming from and it also allows you to upload photos that can be shared with the TVPS community on this website or our blog.

Solution: The simplest work around (that will not result in you having your child's GSuite for Education credentials mixed up with your own Google or GSuite credentials) is to open a private browsing window and visit the form again. Below, there are several screen shots of ways to open private browsing windows.

Requirements: You or your child will need to know their YRDSB GSuite username and password.

• Usernames are 9 digits followed by @gapps.yrdsb.ca (ex. 123456789@gapps.yrdsb.ca)
• Passwords are a combination of 8 letters/digits in most cases (some users may have changed their passwords from the default format)
• Depending on the age of your child, he or she may know these credentials. If not, they will need to get them from their teacher (many primary teachers put labels with children's username and password in their agendas). However, you won't be able to get these from teachers over the summer.

Steps

1. Every browser has some kind of private mode for browsing. The four main browsers are shown in Image 1 below. Each picture shows how to open private browsing in the four main browsers. Open your browser in private (or incognito) mode. Note: On many browsers, right clicking on a link (or a two finger click on a touchpad) will offer you the option to open a link in a private window. You can try that with the link in step 2 below.
2. While in your private browsing window go to http://bit.ly/tvpsshare.
3. You will be brought to a Google Forms sign in page (see Image 2 below).
4. Enter your (or your child's) YRDSB GSuite email address (ending in @gapps.yrdsb.ca) and press the Next button.
5. You will be brought to the YRDSB GSuite sign in page (see Image 3 below).
6. Enter your (or your child's) YRDSB username (just numbers - not the email address) and YRDSB Password. Then press the Log me in to Google button.
7. The Google Form will open and you can share with the TVPS community (see Image 4 below).
