If you want a dual-pack solution with slightly larger dimensions for broader sedan and SUV applications, choose Tuxihapp 21712-79900; if you need a single, precision-engineered cap specifically tailored for Nissan and Infiniti models like the Altima or QX60, choose Oraivy 21712-ZN50A. This decision isn't about which brand is louder or more popular; it is strictly about matching the physical specifications and vehicle compatibility to your specific automotive needs.
• Tuxihapp 21712-79900: The standout strength is the value of receiving two caps in one package with robust high-temperature resistance, while its trade-off is that it lacks specific model-year targeting beyond general sedans and SUVs.
• Oraivy 21712-ZN50A: Its primary advantage is precise compatibility listing for major Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, ensuring a perfect fit for those specific engines, though it comes as a single unit count rather than a pair.
• Who is this for?: The Tuxihapp is ideal for mechanics or owners doing preventative maintenance on multiple vehicles who want spares on hand. The Oraivy is best for the specific owner of a 2013–2025 Nissan or Infiniti who needs a direct replacement without guessing dimensions.
The Tuxihapp 21712-79900 is designed for the practical buyer who values redundancy and broad utility. You are getting two units, not just one. In the world of car maintenance, especially when dealing with engine components that sit in harsh environments, having a spare on hand is never a bad idea. If you are working on a fleet of vehicles or simply prefer to replace both sides of a system simultaneously to ensure uniform performance, this two-piece set makes logical sense.
The engineering focus here is on material resilience. The manufacturer specifies premium plastic construction that offers exceptional high-temperature resistance. This is critical because the coolant reservoir sits right in the engine compartment, where temperatures can soar well beyond what standard plastics can handle. The design promises scratch-resistant and impact-resistant properties, meaning it can withstand daily vehicle vibrations and road shocks without cracking. For anyone whose car takes a beating on rough roads or sees heavy daily use, this durability factor is the primary selling point.
Functionally, this cap does exactly what a radiator cap must do: it maintains optimal fluid levels and stable pressure. By preventing coolant overflow during operation, it protects against overheating and potential engine failure. The threads are precision-engineered for a tight fit, ensuring reliable sealing. However, the "compatible with" section is notably general. It lists sedans and SUVs broadly but advises verifying dimensions beforehand. This suggests it is a universal-fit component rather than a factory-specific OEM replacement. If you drive a generic vehicle or a mix of cars and don't want to spend hours cross-referencing part numbers, this is the safer, more versatile bet.

The Oraivy 21712-ZN50A targets a very specific audience: owners of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles from the last decade. Unlike the broader approach of the Tuxihapp, the Oraivy marketing and specifications are laser-focused. It also covers Infiniti models like the JX35 and QX60. If you own any of these vehicles, the peace of mind knowing the part was engineered for your specific make and model is significant. There is no guessing game about whether the threads will align or if the height matches the reservoir interface.
In terms of build quality, the Oraivy uses high-quality plastic materials designed for both high and low-temperature resistance. It emphasizes wear resistance and scratch resistance, promising not to deform or damage easily over time. The description highlights strong fastness and a long-term sealing effect, which directly addresses the core function of preventing liquid overflow and maintaining stable pressure. These features are essential for driving safety, as a failing seal can lead to coolant loss and subsequent engine overheating. The material choice ensures the cap remains easy to clean and durable, fitting the profile of a part that should last the life of the vehicle.
However, there is a clear trade-off regarding quantity. This product is sold as a single unit count. If you are replacing a cap that has failed, one is sufficient. But if you are performing a full system refresh or anticipate needing a backup later, you would have to purchase this item twice. Furthermore, the dimensions are slightly different from the Tuxihapp, with an outer diameter of about 1.45 inches compared to the Tuxihapp's 1.49 inches. While both are described as ideal sizes for many types of cars, the Oraivy's specificity implies it is optimized for the exact tolerances of the Nissan/Infiniti reservoirs, whereas the Tuxihapp is built for a slightly wider range of fitments.
• Best for Specific Vehicle Compatibility → Oraivy 21712-ZN50A, due to its explicit listing for Nissan and Infiniti models.
• Best for Value and Spare Inventory → Tuxihapp 21712-79900, as it provides two caps instead of one for the same type of application.
• Best for Broad Sedan/SUV Use → Tuxihapp 21712-79900, which fits a wider array of general automotive models without requiring deep model-year research.
• Best for Precision Fitment → Oraivy 21712-ZN50A, given its targeted design for specific chassis and engine bay layouts of Japanese manufacturers.
• Best for High-Temperature Durability → Both offer high-temperature resistance, but Tuxihapp explicitly mentions operating reliably in intense heat without warping.
• Best for Thread Tightness → Both claim precision-engineered threads, but Oraivy emphasizes the "ideal size" for its specific target vehicles.
• Best for Preventative Maintenance → Tuxihapp 21712-79900, because having two caps allows you to swap them out proactively before a total failure occurs.
• Best for Single Replacement → Oraivy 21712-ZN50A, if you only need one cap and want to ensure it matches your car's original specifications perfectly.
After weighing the specifications and use cases, I recommend the Oraivy 21712-ZN50A if you drive a Nissan or Infiniti. The specificity of the compatibility list removes all ambiguity about fitment, which is the most critical factor when replacing a pressure-sealing component like a coolant cap. A perfect fit ensures the pressure holds, preventing leaks and overheating issues that could damage your engine. While the Tuxihapp offers a great two-pack deal, the risk of a marginal fit on a specific Japanese vehicle model outweighs the benefit of having a spare. For car audio enthusiasts or drivers who prioritize reliability and precise engineering for their daily driver, the Oraivy is the safer, more confident choice.
The Oraivy 21712-ZN50A is listed specifically for Nissan and Infiniti models, so it may not fit other brands. The Tuxihapp 21712-79900 is marketed for general sedans and SUVs, making it a better option for non-Nissan vehicles, provided the dimensions match.
If you only need one, you will receive an extra unit as a spare.
The Tuxihapp cap has an outer diameter of approximately 1.49 inches and a height of 0.43 inches. The Oraivy cap is slightly smaller, with an outer diameter of about 1.45 inches and a height of roughly 0.41 inches.
Both caps are designed to prevent overflow and maintain stable pressure using precision threads and high-temperature resistant plastic. The effectiveness ultimately depends on how well the cap matches your specific reservoir interface.
