I have experience teaching 3rd and 4th grade in the classroom, as well as tutoring ages 4-12. I have a special love for tutoring because it allows me the opportunity to focus all my attention on the specific needs each individual child needs to succeed. It gives me the opportunity to help students build confidence in themselves as they face tasks required of them in academic settings.

My tutoring approach is centered on building a supportive and encouraging relationship with each student. By establishing rapport and understanding their strengths and challenges, I am able to tailor my teaching methods to ensure effective learning. Additionally, I believe in fostering a growth mindset and promoting a positive attitude towards learning, which helps students overcome obstacles and build confidence in their abilities.
