This Privacy Policy explains how [App Name] ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use it. We built this app to work entirely on your device, with no account, no login, and no server of our own — this policy reflects that.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information ourselves. Specifically:
No account or login is required or offered.
No name, email, phone number, or contact information is ever requested.
No camera, microphone, location, or contacts permission is requested by the App.
Your dhikr counts, selected phrases, history log, and settings are stored only in local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and we have no access to it. Uninstalling the App, or using the in-app reset/clear option, permanently deletes this data.
We do not sell, rent, or share any data, because we do not collect any to begin with.
The App is free to use and is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob (Google's Mobile Ads SDK). To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect and process:
Your device's advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
Approximate (coarse) location, derived from IP address
Device information (device type, operating system version, language, time zone)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and general engagement with ads shown)
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, and is governed by Google's own privacy and advertising policies:
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses data from advertising: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Depending on your region and consent choices, ads shown may be personalized (based on your advertising ID and general interests) or non-personalized. See Section 4 for how you can control this.
We do not integrate any analytics, crash-reporting, or social SDKs beyond Google AdMob at this time. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly before the change takes effect.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In accordance with Google Play's Families Policy and AdMob's requirements, no advertising identifiers are transmitted for users flagged as children or of unknown age. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it — though as explained above, we do not collect such information as a matter of course.
Before any personalized advertising is shown to you, the App presents a consent request through a certified Consent Management Platform, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. You may:
Consent to, or decline, personalized advertising at any time via this consent screen or the App's settings
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data held about you by Google in connection with advertising, by contacting Google directly or through your Google Account's ad settings (https://adssettings.google.com)
Withdraw consent at any time, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority
Because we hold no personal data of our own, requests concerning advertising data are best directed to Google using the links above; we will assist with any request sent to us to the extent we are able.
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (which, under California law, can include data used for cross-context behavioral advertising, such as personalized ads served via AdMob). You can exercise these choices via:
Your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, or equivalent for your Android version)
Google's Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device's system ad settings, independent of this App. You can also delete all data the App has stored on your device at any time by using the in-app reset option or by uninstalling the App.
Local app data (counts, history, settings) remains on your device until you clear it in-app or uninstall the App. We have no ability to access, retain, or recover this data once deleted.
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own data retention practices, described in Google's Privacy Policy linked above.
Because the App does not operate its own servers or accounts, there is no central database of user data for us to secure or that could be breached on our end. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own operating system security. Data handled by Google AdMob is secured under Google's own security standards.
The App is used globally, including in Pakistan, where we are headquartered. As of the effective date above, Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive, enacted data protection law (the Personal Data Protection Bill remains in draft before Parliament); the applicable framework is the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, as amended in 2025. Regardless, we have written and designed this App's data practices to meet GDPR and CCPA standards for all users, wherever they are located.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add a new feature or third-party service. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This policy describes Tusbeeh Counter's actual data practices as of the effective date above. It should be kept in sync with the Data Safety section you complete in Google Play Console — both must match exactly, or your app can be flagged during review.
