Tung D. Nguyen

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics at Fulbright University Vietnam. Before that I was a Math Fellow at UCLA, working with Mason Porter from 2024-2026 and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, working with Anne Shiu from 2021-2024. 

I received my PhD in 2021 in Mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison; my thesis advisor is David Anderson. I received my BA degree (with a double major in Mathematics and Economics) in Illinois Wesleyan University, under the supervision of Tian-Xiao He.
