Tung D. Nguyen

Update: I will be taking an Assistant Adjunct Professor position at UCLA from Fall 2024 and working with Mason Porter. Before that, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Texas A&M, working with Anne Shiu.  I received my PhD in 2021 in Mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison; my thesis advisor is David Anderson.  I received my BA degree (with a double major in Mathematics and Economics) in Illinois Wesleyan University, under the supervision of Tian-Xiao He. 

My research interest lies at the intersection of dynamical systems, network science and mathematical biology. In particular, I am interested in exploring the connection between network structure and dynamics of various complex systems arising from biology, chemistry, and ecology.
