If you want a child-focused headset with a stated 85 dB volume limit, choose TuneFlux Kids Headphones; if you need passive noise control and a metal-and-plastic build, choose UKELALA C3. For kids with microphone, neither product’s listed features specify a built-in microphone, so don’t choose either on that basis alone.
TuneFlux Kids Headphones vs UKELALA C3 at a Glance
• UKELALA C3: Wired headphones with passive noise cancellation and metal-and-plastic construction; no volume limit is specified.
• TuneFlux is for families who want an on-ear headset with a stated volume cap and a foldable design for carrying.
• UKELALA C3 is for children who need a basic wired headset with passive noise control and a stated age range of 2–15 years.
• The key trade-off: TuneFlux gives a specific volume-limit figure; UKELALA C3 gives a passive noise-control feature but no stated volume limit.
TuneFlux is a wired, on-ear headset designed for children. Its 3.5 mm jack makes it a straightforward option for compatible tablets and other devices with that connection. There’s no wireless pairing to manage or battery specification to weigh; the trade-off is that the cable needs to reach the device, and the headphones are not wireless.
The most distinctive listed feature is an 85 dB volume limit. That gives parents a concrete listening specification to consider, rather than leaving the volume question entirely open. TuneFlux also has a lightweight design, improved headband padding, an adjustable fit, and a foldable construction. Those details point to everyday uses such as listening during a tablet session or packing the headset for a trip. The product information gives its weight as 0.16 kg, and its stated frequency range is 20 Hz–20,000 Hz.
The 3.5 mm connection and on-ear design suit families looking for a simple wired option. TuneFlux’s listed noise control is none, so it does not claim to reduce surrounding sound through a noise-control feature. Its product information names the pink version; I would not assume that a particular color is available in every variation.

UKELALA C3 is also a wired, on-ear children’s headset with a 3.5 mm jack. Its stated age range is 2–15 years, which gives families a broad age guideline to consider. The headband is adjustable, and the headphones fold, so the design offers two practical features for fitting and packing. Its color is listed as black.
The main distinction from TuneFlux is passive noise cancellation. That feature may appeal to someone who wants the headphones’ design to help reduce surrounding sound, though the product information does not quantify how much noise it reduces. UKELALA lists metal and plastic for the enclosure materials and a 40 mm dynamic driver. Its frequency range is approximately 20 Hz–20,000 Hz, and its sensitivity is listed as 110 dB.
That 110 dB sensitivity is not the same as a stated volume cap. UKELALA’s listed features do not specify an 85 dB limit or another maximum-volume safeguard, so parents who prioritize a stated limit should take note. The headset is wired rather than wireless, and its product details do not list a microphone. Its 3.5 mm connection suits compatible devices, but the cable remains part of the setup.
Who should skip it: Skip UKELALA C3 if a stated volume limit is essential or you need wireless headphones with a listed microphone.
• Best fit for a stated volume limit → TuneFlux Kids Headphones. Its product information specifies an 85 dB limit; UKELALA C3 does not list one.
• Best fit for passive noise control → UKELALA C3. It lists passive noise cancellation, while TuneFlux lists no noise control.
• Best for a lightweight design with a stated weight → TuneFlux Kids Headphones. Its listed weight is 0.16 kg, and the product description emphasizes a lightweight build.
• Best for a stated driver size → UKELALA C3. It specifies a 40 mm dynamic driver; TuneFlux’s sheet does not give a driver size.
• Best for families considering a broad stated age range → UKELALA C3. Its product information specifies ages 2–15. TuneFlux is described for children but does not provide the same age range.
• Best for an explicitly listed two-year warranty → TuneFlux Kids Headphones. Its product information includes a two-year manufacturer warranty.
• Best for a simple wired connection → Tie. Both use a 3.5 mm jack, so device compatibility matters more than the brand name.
• Best for a microphone → Neither based on the listed features. A built-in microphone is not specified for either model.
First, check the device the child will use. Both headsets are wired and list a 3.5 mm jack. That’s useful for compatible devices, but it does not establish compatibility with every tablet, laptop, or phone. If the device lacks that jack, these specifications do not identify another connection method.
Next, decide what matters more: a stated volume limit or passive noise control. TuneFlux specifies an 85 dB limit, which is a clear point of difference for a parent looking for a volume-related feature. UKELALA C3 specifies passive noise cancellation, but does not provide a measurement of its effect. Neither fact should be stretched into a claim about complete hearing protection or blocking all outside sound.
Fit and portability are also worth weighing. Both products are on-ear and foldable, and both have an adjustable headband. TuneFlux calls out improved headband padding and gives a weight of 0.16 kg. UKELALA lists metal and plastic enclosure materials but does not provide a product weight. The available details therefore make TuneFlux easier to assess for weight, while UKELALA gives more information about its materials.
Finally, be careful about buying either model for features that are not listed. Neither product sheet specifies a microphone, wireless operation, or a noise-control feature for TuneFlux beyond its stated “None.” If a child needs a headset for calls or online lessons, confirm the microphone requirement separately rather than assuming it is included.
I would choose TuneFlux Kids Headphones for a child whose family prioritizes a stated 85 dB volume limit, lightweight design, and foldability. That combination gives me a clearer basis for choosing it for everyday wired listening. For kids with microphone, though, I would look for a model that explicitly lists a microphone, because neither headset does. If passive noise control is the priority instead, UKELALA C3 is the more relevant option.
A microphone is not listed in the product information for either model. If the child needs one for calls, online classes, or voice chat, verify that feature before choosing.
TuneFlux specifies an 85 dB volume limit. UKELALA C3’s listed features do not specify a maximum-volume limit, so the two should not be treated as equivalent on that point.
UKELALA C3 lists passive noise cancellation, while TuneFlux lists no noise control. The product information does not quantify the amount of sound reduced, so it does not support a claim that outside noise will be fully blocked.
No. Both are listed as wired headphones with a 3.5 mm jack. Check the child’s device for a compatible headphone connection before purchasing.
