You will hear a number of well-known tunes. Some will be played correctly, while others will be played incorrectly (with some wrong notes). Your task is to decide whether the tunes are played correctly or incorrectly.

Here's an example to show you what to expect. Click the link below that says "Play example tune." Listen carefully. If you think the tune was played correctly, click the button labeled "Yes" for the question. If you think the tune was played incorrectly, click the button labeled "No."

For example if I train a model and later on gather a new batch of training material. Can i further fine-tune my existing model? Or do I need to run a fine-tune job from scratch on a base model using the combined training material.

But then every time I tried submitting the prompt above to the model fine-tuned with prompt/completion pair, I got some random variation on a typical output of GPT-3. In other words, it never recognized me as the handsomest man on planet Earth.

In my app, I have new data periodically, so after a few days I will fine-tune the model with new data on top of the previously fine-tuned model. But the issue is that after a few rounds of fine-tuned, the model will partially forget some of the old data, and it looks like the older the data, the worsen it will be.

Hi, @PaulBellow

I am facing the same constraint that @Christoph mentioned in the original post. I am trying to fine-tune GPT-3 on sermon data, which on average is ~45 minutes of speech, 15 pages of text, and approximately 12,000 tokens. The max prompt size for fine-tuning is 2048 (or 2049, depending on whom you talk to). Is there any reference, FAQ or documentation that shows a prompt of 1000 tokens is optimal?

In my case I want to have as large prompt size as possible, in order to keep the continuity of the text. I assume this will improve the completion results, which - as you can imagine - will naturally swim in the abstract.

Tune is a Python library for experiment execution and hyperparameter tuning at any scale. You can tune your favorite machine learning framework (PyTorch, XGBoost, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow and Keras, and more) by running state of the art algorithms such as Population Based Training (PBT) and HyperBand/ASHA.Tune further integrates with a wide range of additional hyperparameter optimization tools, including Ax, BayesOpt, BOHB, and Optuna.

Eligible households can receive energy efficiency services, which includes the cleaning of primary heating equipment, but may also include chimney cleaning, minor repairs, installation of carbon monoxide detectors or programmable thermostats, if needed, to allow for the safe, proper and efficient operation of the heating equipment. Benefit amounts are based on the actual cost incurred to provide clean and tune services, up to a maximum of $500. No additional HEAP cash benefits are available.

Think of tune() here as a placeholder. After the tuning process, we will select a single numeric value for each of these hyperparameters. For now, we specify our parsnip model object and identify the hyperparameters we will tune().

The function grid_regular() is from the dials package. It chooses sensible values to try for each hyperparameter; here, we asked for 5 of each. Since we have two to tune, grid_regular() returns 5 \(\times\) 5 = 25 different possible tuning combinations to try in a tidy tibble format.

We leave it to the reader to explore whether you can tune a different decision tree hyperparameter. You can explore the reference docs, or use the args() function to see which parsnip object arguments are available:

Municipal tune-ups will save the City money and help us meet our energy and carbon reduction goals. The Municipal Building Tune-Ups Resolution (31652) requires that tune-ups on City buildings be completed one year in advance of deadlines for the private market - with the exception of buildings that are between 70,000 - 99,999 SF, those tune-ups are due at the same time as the private market. Tune-ups are complete at Seattle Central Library, Seattle Justice Center, McCaw Hall, Key Arena, Armory, Seattle City Hall, Westbridge, Airport Way Building C, and Benaroya Hall.

The automotive service industry may hotly debate the frequency in which you should tune-up your vehicle, but they do agree on one thing: tune-ups are necessary. Car owners know this to be true as well, with most politely obeying their vehicle "check engine" light when it's time to visit the shop. To do otherwise would reduce efficiency and could be catastrophic for the life of a vehicle.

After ChatGPT was released, we built the v1 of re:tune as a weekend project, to enable both engineers and non-engineers easily fine-tune OpenAI models without having to write any code - from there it gradually evolved as a platform to help users build AI based solutions.

Re:tune is building the platform to transform cutting-edge AI researches into user friendly interfaces for everyone to use, without putting any extra or unnecessary constraints or limits so our users can build whatever they want and however they want them to be.

The present study used positron emission tomography (PET) to examine the cerebral activity pattern associated with auditory imagery for familiar tunes. Subjects either imagined the continuation of nonverbal tunes cued by their first few notes, listened to a short sequence of notes as a control task, or listened and then reimagined that short sequence. Subtraction of the activation in the control task from that in the real-tune imagery task revealed primarily right-sided activation in frontal and superior temporal regions, plus supplementary motor area (SMA). Isolating retrieval of the real tunes by subtracting activation in the reimagine task from that in the real-tune imagery task revealed activation primarily in right frontal areas and right superior temporal gyrus. Subtraction of activation in the control condition from that in the reimagine condition, intended to capture imagery of unfamiliar sequences, revealed activation in SMA, plus some left frontal regions. We conclude that areas of right auditory association cortex, together with right and left frontal cortices, are implicated in imagery for familiar tunes, in accord with previous behavioral, lesion and PET data. Retrieval from musical semantic memory is mediated by structures in the right frontal lobe, in contrast to results from previous studies implicating left frontal areas for all semantic retrieval. The SMA seems to be involved specifically in image generation, implicating a motor code in this process.

Auto-Tune automatically tunes this threshold, typically between 5-15%, based on the amount of JVM that is currently occupied on the system. For example, if JVM memory pressure is high, Auto-Tune might reduce the threshold to 5%, at which point you might see more rejections until the cluster stabilizes and the threshold increases.
