PROBLEM STATEMENT
Selling artworks can be a great way to protect and share a history pieces and help people to invest in good art in their lives. However many potential investors and collectors are often so busy to commit to regular auctions or they have a hard time to attend to auctions. Design an experience where investors, collectors can bid, based on interests, location and availability.
User Research: Summary
I conducted interviews and create empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was Enterprising collectors.
Typically first-generation entrepreneurs, often from market-driven professions like finance and real estate, they view art as an asset class, but rarely as a pure investment. They covert secrecy; information is currency to this tribe. Priced out of trophy hunting and too financially driven for the enterprising collectors, their goal is to destabilize the canon, challenge the ancient regime and define art history through collecting.
User Research: Pain Points
Auctions are limited time so it's hard to follow.
Hard to figure out if you get the bid and have to pay for it.
Gallery doesn't have any knowledge base to follow the auctions

Takeaways
As it is my first personal project in UX design, I have learned a lot from beginning to the end including project structure, how to apply the process, how to use Figma and also how to document all project details. To addition to these, working on this project, let me to concern on the art industry, investing art and how an art would be so valuable for future.
