PROBLEM STATEMENT
Immigrants and refugees mostly face hard times while they want to get involved in market in their expertise. It is not possible to have their support to prepare themselves to the industry without communicating and networking. Market needs an app and website support to create as easy a search to find suitable mentors for users, to invent and implement a convenient system of communication between mentors and mentees, and to follow their upcoming meetings.
User Research: Summary
I conducted interviews and create empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was immigrants.
Typically first-generation immigrants, often from market-driven professions in different sectors and industries, they think to have advices and support from the experts (mentors) would be great to start in their local area. Finding the best career opportunities, networking to create valuable professionals connections, mock interviews and informational interviews, making the most of employer referrals, polishing their applications and interview skills are the common expectation from the mentor-im.

Takeaways
The impact is to reach immigrants to help building their lives with starting their careers as soon as possible and support them with the mentors to get ready for meetings, resume etc. There are millions of people immigrate everyday and they look for a new career and community to have support. The app and website teach me a lot about the immigrants and their needs.
