Fighting back against the state's war on bodily autonomy, healthcare, privacy, and the working class.
LGBTQIA+ Resources
Resources for TTU and Lubbock community
This resource guide was put together by the Rainbow Leaders Association. It is very comprehensive and includes resources both on and off campus.
Palestine
DSA Statement on Palestine conflict
No Money for Massacres Phonebank Campaign
Statement on Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS)
We have participated in three protests with other student organizations to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. We are appalled at the brutal treatment that Palestinians have received from the Israeli government, especially during the Fall of 2023. To learn more about Palestinian solidarity on TTU campus, check out Texas Tech Students for Justice in Palestine. We call for Texas Tech University and its employees and students to participate in the BDS consumer boycott and to take further action to help bring justice to the Palestinian people.
Ukraine
Y/DSA Statement on Ukraine and where to donate
We helped organize a protest with other student organizations where we read our statement and encouraged people to donate to humanitarian efforts.
We helped start a community garden behind the First Unitarian Universalist Church on 42nd & Canton. The garden project is temporarily on pause, but if you're interested in revamping it, please let us know.
