If you want a lightweight, safe pair of open-ear headphones for active kids or outdoor running, choose Ttbesmi Purple Out; if you need deep bass, wired flexibility, and extended battery life for TV watching or gaming on a laptop, choose Sorandy Headphones Over Ear.
• Ttbesmi Purple Out: Its biggest strength is the secure, open-ear design that keeps you aware of your surroundings while staying incredibly light at just 18 grams; its trade-off is a shorter 4-hour playtime compared to traditional over-ear models.
• Sorandy Headphones Over Ear: It delivers rich, immersive stereo sound with large 40mm drivers and supports a 32GB memory card for offline listening; however, it lacks the specialized safety features of open-ear designs for high-movement sports.
• Who is this for?: The Ttbesmi fits parents looking for the best comfortable bluetooth headphones for sleeping or kids who need to stay alert during play, while the Sorandy suits students needing the best gaming headphones for laptop use or travelers wanting long sessions without recharging.
The Ttbesmi Purple Out is engineered for a very specific lifestyle: one where movement and awareness are non-negotiable. This isn't a standard pair of headphones that sits heavily on your head; it utilizes an air-bone conduction technology that rests outside the ear canal entirely. With a weight of only 18.14 grams (roughly 0.3 oz), these are the kind of audio devices you might forget you are wearing until you take them off. This makes them an ideal candidate for anyone searching for the best comfortable bluetooth headphones for sleeping or for children who are active throughout the day. The open-ear architecture ensures that no matter how much they move, jump, or run, the device stays put without pinching or causing fatigue.
Safety is arguably the primary design driver here. Because the ears remain unblocked, users can hear traffic, approaching people, or environmental cues while listening to music or taking calls. This is critical for outdoor activities like jogging or hiking. The product description explicitly highlights that this design allows you to "feel your surroundings at all times," making it a perfect companion for sports where situational awareness is a priority. If you are buying for a child aged 6 and up, as indicated in the specifications, this open design prevents the isolation that can be dangerous during outdoor play.

However, this design comes with physical limitations that you must accept before buying. The battery life is listed at approximately 4 hours of continuous playback at 50% volume. While the charging case helps extend usability, the single charge duration is significantly lower than what you get from traditional over-ear cans. Additionally, because the drivers are not sealed inside the ear cup, the sound experience will differ from standard noise-canceling headphones. It uses directional sound transmission to minimize leakage, but it won't block out the world around you. This is not a product for those seeking total immersion in a noisy environment; it is for those who want to stay connected to their audio while remaining connected to the world.
In stark contrast, the Sorandy Headphones Over Ear is built for immersion and versatility. These are classic over-ear cups designed to cover the ears completely, utilizing large 40mm speakers to deliver a "heart-pounding" music experience with a broad frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz. This setup is perfect for someone who wants to feel every bass note and appreciate the depth of a track, which is why I often recommend this style for gamers looking for the best gaming headphones for laptop use. The closed-back design naturally isolates sound, allowing for better focus during intense gaming sessions or when trying to enjoy a movie on the TV without disturbing others.
One of the standout features for the Sorandy is its connectivity flexibility. Unlike many modern wireless-only devices, this model includes a 3.5mm line control interface alongside Bluetooth 5.3. This dual-mode capability means you aren't locked into a single way of listening. You can connect wirelessly within a 10-meter range for freedom of movement, or plug directly into a console, laptop, or older TV for zero-latency stability. Furthermore, the support for a 32GB memory card (though not included) is a rare and valuable feature for travelers or commuters who want to store hundreds of songs locally without relying on a phone connection or battery drain.
The battery performance here is also more robust for long sessions. While the exact hour count varies by usage, the 200mAh lithium-ion battery is designed for "long lasting playback," eliminating the need for frequent top-ups during a workday or a long flight. The build uses lightweight ABS material to ensure comfort even during extended wear, but the form factor is inherently bulkier than the Ttbesmi. It folds for storage, making it portable, but it is clearly intended for stationary or travel use rather than high-intensity athletic activity. If your goal is to disconnect from the world and focus entirely on audio quality, this is the superior choice.
• Best for Battery Life → Sorandy Headphones Over Ear: The larger 200mAh battery and ability to use a micro-SD card make this the clear winner for marathon listening sessions without constant charging.
• Best for Safety and Awareness → Ttbesmi Purple Out: The open-ear design is unmatched for keeping ears free so you can hear your environment, essential for running or supervising kids outdoors.
• Best for Gaming Latency → Sorandy Headphones Over Ear: The inclusion of a 3.5mm wired option and stable Bluetooth 5.3 makes it easier to find low latency earphones for running or competitive gaming without wireless lag.
• Best for Lightweight Comfort → Ttbesmi Purple Out: At just 18 grams, it is virtually weightless compared to the Sorandy, making it superior for all-day wear or sensitive ears.
• Best for Sound Depth and Bass → Sorandy Headphones Over Ear: The 40mm drivers provide a fuller, richer audio profile suitable for movies and music lovers who want deep resonance.
• Best for Active Sports → Ttbesmi Purple Out: The IPX5 waterproof rating and secure fit make it resistant to sweat and rain, whereas the Sorandy is better suited for casual listening.
• Best for Versatile Connectivity → Sorandy Headphones Over Ear: Being able to switch between Bluetooth, wired 3.5mm, and SD card storage offers options the Ttbesmi simply does not have.
• Best for Kids' Outdoor Use → Ttbesmi Purple Out: The age range of 6+ and the safety-first open design make it the logical pick for children playing outside.
I would buy the Ttbesmi Purple Out for my family, specifically for our kids. In my opinion, the peace of mind that comes from having an open-ear design is worth sacrificing some battery life. When children are playing outside or engaging in active games, knowing they can still hear cars or other people is invaluable. The Ttbesmi is the safer, smarter choice for the "best gaming headphones for laptop" crowd if they are actually using them for active tasks or if they are young users who need to stay aware of their surroundings. However, if I were sitting down to watch a movie or play a competitive game on my PC, I would immediately switch to the Sorandy for that immersive, bass-heavy experience. For the specific use case of for kids bluetooth safety and active play, the Ttbesmi wins hands down.
Yes, the Ttbesmi Purple Out is excellent for running due to its IPX5 waterproof rating and open-ear design that keeps you aware of traffic. The Sorandy is less ideal for high-intensity running as it is a closed-back over-ear design.
Yes, the Sorandy supports up to 32GB memory cards, but the card itself is not included in the box. The Ttbesmi does not have this feature and relies solely on Bluetooth streaming.
Both models feature advanced microphone technology; the Ttbesmi uses an ENC algorithm with dual microphones for clear calls in noisy environments, while the Sorandy focuses on general clarity through its Bluetooth 5.3 connection and standard mic setup.
The Sorandy Headphones Over Ear generally offers longer playback time thanks to its 200mAh battery, whereas the Ttbesmi provides about 4 hours of playtime per charge.
