If you want lightweight, open-ear headphones for a kid to wear while staying aware of nearby sounds, choose Ttbesmi Purple Out; if you need a foldable over-ear design with longer listed playback time, choose Naroote Open Back Headphones. The distinction is simple: Ttbesmi is built around a compact ear-hanging fit and four hours of playback, while Naroote emphasizes adjustable headband comfort and up to 20 hours of use.
Ttbesmi Purple Out vs Naroote Open Back Headphones at a Glance
• Naroote Open Back Headphones’ biggest strength: up to 20 hours of continuous playback with a foldable, adjustable headband; trade-off: the product information is less clear and consistent about its wearing style and connectivity.
• Choose Ttbesmi Purple Out for a lightweight option with IPX5 sweat and water protection, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual microphones.
• Choose Naroote for longer listening sessions, a suspended-cushion design, and the ability to pair with two devices.
• Ttbesmi is the more natural fit for active listening where awareness matters; Naroote is aimed at extended listening and portability.
Ttbesmi Purple Out uses an open-ear, over-ear hanging design rather than an earpiece that sits inside the ear canal. The listed weight is 0.3 ounces, and the frame is described as plastic with skin-friendly ABS material. That combination points to a lightweight option for someone who dislikes in-ear earbuds or wants to keep their ears uncovered while listening. Its stated age range is 6+, making it a possible headset for a child, though fit and supervision still matter in everyday use.
The practical case for Ttbesmi is movement. Its open-ear design is intended to keep surrounding sounds perceptible, and the product information lists IPX5 protection against sweat and water. That makes it more suited to workouts, walks, and outdoor routines than a design intended to seal off the ears. Bluetooth 5.3 and a stated range of about 10 meters in an unobstructed setting describe its wireless connection. The dual microphones and noise-reduction processing are intended to support calls, while the USB-C charging case is listed with a 300mAh capacity.

Who should skip this: Skip Ttbesmi if you need long uninterrupted playback or want headphones designed to keep outside sound out.
Naroote is positioned around extended listening. Its listed playback time is up to 20 hours, and the design description highlights suspended cushions that allow airflow, plus adjustable sliders and a flexible headband. Those features point toward a head-worn option for work, leisure, or travel when you want to wear headphones for longer stretches without putting earbuds into your ear canals. The foldable construction is also useful if you want a design that can be packed away between sessions.
Its sound description emphasizes a wide soundstage, clear vocals, and defined bass, with dual dynamic drivers and independent amplification for high and low frequencies mentioned in the product details. Those are design claims, not a guarantee that every listener will hear the same result. The intended appeal is a more spacious presentation for music and general listening, paired with a longer battery run time than Ttbesmi’s listed four hours. Naroote also lists dual-device connectivity, which could be convenient when switching between a phone and another device.
There are details I would verify before choosing it. The headline and feature descriptions call it over-ear and open-back, but the product information also lists “In Ear” for ear placement and folding features. Connectivity is described as Bluetooth 6.0 in the feature material, while a product-information field says “ethernet.” Those entries do not form a clear, consistent picture. The advertised wireless design and dual-device pairing may suit someone seeking wireless headphones, but the conflicting fields make it sensible to check the product details carefully before purchase.
Who should skip this: Skip Naroote if you need clearly documented connection specifications or a compact ear-hanging design for outdoor awareness.
• Best for a kid who needs an open-ear fit → Ttbesmi Purple Out. Its listed age range is 6+, and its design hangs around the ear rather than sitting inside the ear canal.
• Best for longer listed playback → Naroote. It specifies up to 20 hours, compared with about four hours at 50% volume for Ttbesmi.
• Best for sweat-conscious workouts → Ttbesmi Purple Out. Its product information specifies IPX5 protection and describes use around sweat and rain.
• Best for a foldable design → Naroote. Its foldable construction is intended to make it easier to carry for travel and daily activities.
• Best for calls with stated microphone features → Ttbesmi Purple Out. It lists dual microphones and noise-reduction processing.
• Best for adjusting the fit around the head → Naroote. Its adjustable sliders and flexible headband are meant to adapt to different head shapes.
• Best for Bluetooth details that are more clearly specified → Ttbesmi Purple Out. Its sheet names Bluetooth 5.3 and an approximate 10-meter unobstructed range; Naroote’s information contains conflicting connectivity entries.
• Best for a claimed spacious listening presentation → Naroote. Its description calls out an expansive soundstage, clear vocals, and defined bass, though those claims should not be treated as a listening guarantee.
I would choose Ttbesmi Purple Out for a kid when the priority is an open-ear fit, a lightweight listed design, and sweat protection for active use. Its four-hour playback limit is a real drawback, so I would not pick it for all-day listening without charging. If my main need were longer sessions at home or on the move, I would choose Naroote instead, while checking its conflicting product details first. For my stated use case, I prefer Ttbesmi’s clearer combination of wearing style and activity-focused features.
Before deciding, match the fit to the setting. Ttbesmi’s open-ear format is intended to leave surrounding sounds audible, which can be useful outside, but it is not the choice for someone seeking isolation. Neither product’s open design makes it the answer to the search for the best noise cancelling open ear headphones: Ttbesmi lists sound isolation as its noise-control type, while Naroote is described as open-back. Those descriptions do not support treating either as a conventional noise-cancelling headset.
Think about the length of your listening sessions, too. Ttbesmi’s approximately four-hour playback estimate is tied to 50% volume, so actual use may differ. Naroote’s up-to-20-hour figure is more appealing for long days, but the product details are inconsistent about its connection and wearing style. If you are comparing them as a headset for Switch, do not assume compatibility from the product descriptions alone; check that the specific connection method works with your setup. Likewise, Naroote’s mention of defined bass does not establish it as the best deep bass sports earbuds. It is described as a foldable headphone, while Ttbesmi’s strengths are its open-ear fit and sweat protection.
Ttbesmi is the clearer fit for that need because its open-ear design is specifically described as keeping the ears unobstructed and allowing awareness of nearby sounds. Naroote is also described as open-back, but its product information is less consistent about its fit.
Naroote lists up to 20 hours of continuous playback. Ttbesmi lists about four hours at 50% volume and a one-hour charging time, so Naroote has the stronger stated endurance.
Ttbesmi lists sound isolation as its noise-control type and describes noise reduction for calls; Naroote is presented as an open-back design.
Ttbesmi lists an age range of 6+ and has an ear-hanging open-ear design, making it the more directly specified option for a child. Consider fit, volume, and the listening situation, and check the current product details before deciding.
