TSV2 was built by GPS THAISTAR as a free application. This SERVICE is provided by GPS THAISTAR at no cost and is intended for use as-is. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of information for anyone who chooses to use our Service.
To provide a secure and efficient tracking experience and professional support, we require certain personally identifiable information. The app collects and processes the following data:
Google Profile Information (Name and Email): When you use "Login with Google," we collect your name and email address to create your user profile, manage your authentication session, and identify you within our system.
Device Identifiers (IMEI or Android ID): These are collected solely for identifying the mobile device, managing active sessions, and improving overall app security.
External GPS Data: Our service processes location coordinates, speed, and status data received from external GPS tracking hardware installed in your vehicles.
Chat Communications: When you use our "Contact Admin" feature, we collect the messages and content you send to facilitate support and communication.
To support our Towing Service (งานรถลาก) and location-based features, TSV2 requires access to your mobile device's location services.
Data Collection: We collect Precise Location and Approximate Location data when you use features such as "Create Work Order" or "My Current Location."
Purpose: This data is used to identify the exact incident location (Accident point) for towing requests and to display your current position on the map to facilitate coordination between insurance officers and tow truck drivers.
Sharing with Third Parties: To fulfill the service request, your location data is shared with the relevant third parties (e.g., the assigned tow truck driver or service provider) specifically to facilitate the recovery and towing service.
Background Access: TSV2 only accesses location data when the app is in the foreground and the user explicitly interacts with location-based features. We do not collect or monitor your location in the background.
To provide rapid assistance, our chat system utilizes Artificial Intelligence (Gemini AI by Google).
Processing: Your chat messages are transmitted to Google (as a third-party processor) via secure API to generate automated responses.
Ephemeral Processing: This data is processed by the AI in real-time. We do not use your private chat data to train public AI models.
User Responsibility: Users are advised not to share sensitive personal information, passwords, or financial details within the chat interface.
To protect critical functions—such as remote engine cut-off and device settings—the app implements an additional layer of security:
PIN Security: The app stores a cryptographic hash of your 6-digit PIN. The original PIN is never stored or transmitted to our servers.
Biometric Data: TSV2 supports Biometric Authentication using standard Android APIs. We do not access, collect, or store your actual biometric samples; all processing is handled securely by the Android OS.
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
Authentication and Account Management: To verify your identity and maintain a secure session.
App Functionality & Support: To display real-time tracking data, manage towing service workflows, and provide automated assistance.
Critical Command Protection: To ensure that highly sensitive operations (e.g., stopping a vehicle's engine) are authorized by the verified owner.
Security and Fraud Prevention: To prevent unauthorized access to your vehicle data.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals (such as Google Generative Language API and Google Maps API) to facilitate our Service, provide the Service on our behalf, or perform Service-related tasks. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We respect your right to control your personal data:
Deletion Request: Users may request the permanent deletion of their account by contacting us at thaistar.mailer@gmail.com.
Data Removal: Upon a valid request, personal information will be purged from our active databases. Locally stored data (such as PIN hashes) will be removed immediately upon app uninstallation.
The app requests only the minimum necessary permissions:
INTERNET: Required to connect to our servers and AI API services.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required to pinpoint the user's current location for incident reporting and navigation within the app's map interface.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to deliver critical vehicle alerts and job status updates.
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: Required for secure authentication.
We use industry-standard encryption and HTTPS (TLS) protocols to protect your data. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third-party companies for marketing purposes.
