Praise be to the name of the Lord.
Ten years have passed this year since we moved to Tsushima, a small remote island in Japan, to share God's love with the islanders who do not know the Lord.
When I first came here, I was really worried every day about whether I would be able to make a living as a volunteer missionary without a fixed salary and whether I would be able to support my family. But looking back over the past 10 years, the Lord has indeed met all our needs in wondrous ways and paved the way for us in the wilderness.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. PROVERBS 16,3
The Lord has answered our prayers and given us facilities to help children who cannot go to school, as well as farms to provide healthy fruits and vegetables to the islanders.
When we asked for a car that would not cost much for fuel to take a disabled person to the hospital free of charge, the Lord also provided us with an electric car that could take us to and from the hospital at less than half the cost of a gasoline-powered car. Looking back, I am convinced that each of these miracles is a miracle from God. And because the Lord always walked with us, we were able to continue working as volunteer missionaries for 10 years. I would also like to thank our brothers and sisters in the Lord who have supported us and prayed for us.
