This is the perfect opportunity for members and officers to attend professional development workshops, make connections with students and educators across the state, and be a part of the voting process for local, district, and state leaders for next year. It's also a great time to bond with with fellow Texas Tech members and explore the beautiful city of Austin!

Join us for our first community service opportunity of the fall semester! We will be hosting a photo booth at the TTU SUB, so make sure to come in costume! Sign-ups are available in half-hour shifts, and if you can't attend but want to volunteer, we will be accepting bags of candy: a small bag is a half hour, a large bag is a full hour. Love and Logic is a class held every Tuesday night for six weeks. It is a professional development opportunity where you can learn skills for teaching, parenting, and working with children. Not only that, but this class can teach life skills for communicating and working with anyone. This class will replace TSTA meetings for the six weeks that it runs, and for each class you attend, you will earn one point toward your graduation cord. MAKE SURE TO RSVP IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING! For our final meeting of the semester we will be celebrating the holidays by having a party and a gift card exchange! Tech-or-Treat is a TTU tradition that allows children from all around Lubbock to have a safe night of trick-or-treating on campus. This year, it will be held on Monday, October 30th from 6:00-8:00PM in the SUB Ballroom (as well as some dorm lobbies). Each organization sets up a booth with activities, games, candy, and prizes, and this year our booth is going to be Character Meet and Greet! Sign-up times will be available at our next meeting for members to volunteer their time at our booth, but even if you can't make it to volunteer, you can always donate some candy! We will be designing our decorations and choosing our character costumes next meeting as well, so be sure not to miss it!
