I use the textures, colors, and subjects from my photography as the foundation for collage and mixed media pieces. This process allows me to reimagine familiar imagery and explore new ways of seeing. By layering materials and perspectives, I aim to blur the lines between reality and reinterpretation—inviting the viewer to question what’s real, what’s constructed, and what exists in between.
Collage work began as a mental health exercise—a way to quiet my mind and focus through creation, using visual tools I’ve built over time. It became a grounding practice that evolved into a broader visual language—personal, expressive, and deeply intuitive.
What I love most about collage is its ability to connect. It reveals the underlying similarities between people, places, and things. Material from different worlds can come together to tell a single story—or multiple stories at once—depending on how you look at it. It’s a medium that speaks in layers, inviting reflection, emotion, and new perspective.
