Welcome! I’m Paschalis. Born and raised in Belgium, I’ve always been fascinated by how things work. That curiosity led me to a PhD in electrical engineering at KU Leuven, and eventually to incredible learning experiences at Princeton, UCLA, and Tsinghua University.
In 2014, I joined Nokia to help turn cutting-edge research into technologies that can make a real difference in people’s lives. My work focuses on next-generation telecommunications networks, tackling the complex challenge of delivering faster, more reliable, and more intelligent connectivity to millions of people. I have always viewed research and engineering as a creative pursuit. It is not just about advancing technology; it is about solving difficult problems, navigating complexity, and helping build the digital infrastructure that keeps communities, businesses, and societies connected every day.
I’ve been fortunate to have around 50 patents granted during my career. To me, they are not milestones of individual achievement, but the result of years of curiosity, teamwork, and dedication to building the networks that quietly power modern life.
At home, the tech innovation stops and the high energy begins—I am a proud husband and father to three amazing, sporty kids who keep me on my toes every single day.
