Welcome to my website!
My research style is to solve the evolutionary history of study species through genetics, physiology, ecology and so on. I'm looking forward to studying the interesting characteristics (especially Proximate Causation) of study species and making discoveries that will be the seeds of research themes for the next generation.
I earned my PhD from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI), where I studied the evolution of vision in sea snakes. Currently, I work at a gene bank center, where I’m involved in building a large-scale genome database of vegetable genetic resources using nanopore sequencing technology. My research focuses on genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and evolutionary analyses based on the resulting genomic data. I’m fascinated by the striking phenotypes of sea snakes and have a strong interest in herpetological research, including studies involving pet reptiles. You can find my publications and CV here.
