Jerin and Loran, young twin brothers, find themselves out on the streets after the murder of their parents. With no other known relatives, and cast out by the baker they were apprenticed to, they have nowhere to go. A street boy named Kiev helps them and gives them shelter, but soon it becomes obvious they all are being hunted…Kiev by a gang of street denizens who want him dead, and the twins by strange men in black and silver. Aided by a mysterious mage, a mercenary, a monk, and a party of elves, they seek refuge in Isandria, the elven homeland. In the elven city, they gain more allies, including an elf prince and a wolf. But will it be too little too late? Dark forces are gathering.
