Optoelectronic devices based on 2D materials

Started during my stay as a postdoc in the group of Dr. Andres Castellanos Gomez at IMDEA nanoscience in Madrid and later in the Institute of Materials of Madrid (CSIC-ICMM), study of the optoelectronics properties of devices based on 2D materials and the effect of strain on their properties.

Molecular scale electronics

During my Ph.D. studies in the Kavli institute of Delft under the supervision of Prof. Herre van der Zant I investigated electrical transport through single molecules contacted with metallic nano-electrodes.
