The Tropical Rivers and Coasts Team at EAFIT University studies the morphodynamics of rivers and coasts at low latitudes. We are interested in the mechanisms controlling tropical coasts at diverse scales, including fluvial-delta-nearshore morphology from the source-to-sink perspective, estuarine hydrodynamics, relative sea-level change, and bedform morphodynamics.
We are hosted in the School of Applied Sciences and Engineering at Universidad EAFIT. Our research activities are formally presented to the Ministry of Science of Colombia -Minciencias- within the Geosciences and Biodiversity research group.
