Why You Should Join Our Troop - we are part of the Co-Ed Pilot

We are a Boy Scout troop sponsored by the parish of the Queen of Apostles Church, located on the northwest side of Chicago. We are in the Checaugau District of the Pathway to Adventure Council. We are linked to Troop 894 G and closely associated with the Cub Scouts in Pack 3894. Although we are chartered through a Catholic Church, we scouts of all faiths from around the city. We have members from many different neighborhoods who gather together to share fellowship and adventure.

Our troop has an active outdoor program that includes week-end camping during the school year and week-long summer camping at Owasippe, one of the best Scout camps in the country. We also have a growing high-adventure program. Troop 894 Scouts have attended:

We are meeting every other Monday from 7:15 - 8:45 pm in Queen's Lower Church. Check the calendar for the specific location for a particular date.

1,311 pounds of food for The Friendship Center
