Who We Are...

We are a Boy Scout Troop based in Arroyo Grande, CA. We go on a variety of outings from simple overnights and day hikes to long term backpacking trips and hiking the tallest mountain in California. We have activities everyone can enjoy, whether in you're a first year or a well-seasoned camper.

Why We Do It...

Boy Scouting builds self-reliance, self-discipline, self-confidence, and self-respect. The program helps youth understand and improve their personal qualities, values and outlook on life.

Scouting encourages respect of, participation in, and caring for their community, nation and world, while fostering a commitment of service to others and an understanding of local, state, and national government.

BSA's goal is to develop life-long physical, mental, emotional, and moral fitness. This is done by promoting a scout-run outdoor program, which encourages lots of physical activity.
