Plant a Row with Troop 40886

Welcome! Join Juniors of Girl Scout Troop 40886 in raising awareness of the Plant a Row program of Snohomish County in Washington State. Our goal is to encourage the community to plant an extra row of fruits or vegetables in their gardens to help people who don’t have enough money to buy food.

Join us in the Plant a Row program!

Steps To Get Involved

Help others in Snohomish County by planting an an extra row in your garden and donating it to a food bank. We adapted some basic steps from the county's Plant a Row website.

  1. Take the pledge - go to Plant a Row link below

  2. Plant your garden - view plants below

  3. Consult food bank map - link below

  4. Harvest and deliver to the food bank

  5. Ask for a donation receipt/weight

  6. Comment - tell us you’ve delivered your row in the comment box below

This project also helps us achieve the Bronze Award. This is the highest award for Juniors. We need to measure our success, so we would greatly appreciate it if you would comment below.
