It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Scouting provides a well-charted map for helping boys become better citzens and leaders by providing a path where boys can advance in rank, learn life skills, and become the leaders of tomorrow by using their Scouting skills in citizenship, responsibility, respect and reverence each day.
