We are Scouts BSA Troop 202 -- Welcome!

Our Troop is a scout-led Unit with parent support. Our goal is to get outdoors, be challenged, and have fun! We joined the Scouts BSA program to learn new skills, build up our community, make new friends, develop each of our leadership styles, and go on new adventures!

We seek to broaden our horizons and explore new things ranging from STEM to Service Projects, from Camping to Water Sports, from youth leadership training to public speaking, and beyond! We challenge each other to support our fellow scouts and scouters, preform acts of service, share scouting skills/knowledge/resources with our local Cub Scout Packs, support local events, contribute to our District and Council, and be present in our community as a resource.  We take the words "scouting in action" seriously and look for "Good Turns" in our daily lives. 

We are chartered by Faith United Methodist Church and have a history of serving the community of Lombard for over 30 years. During which time we have had over 60 scouts reach the rank of Eagle. We have also had a variety of youth and adult volunteers be accepted into the Order of the Arrow. Some of our youth and adults currently in the Troop are both Brotherhood and Vigil members. We encourage involvement into the bigger scouting world. Starting with local extra trainings for both our scouts and scouters to help strengthen our program, help grow their own leadership styles, and expand their scouting knowledge base. 

Prospective scouts, Webelos, and Arrow of Light scouts have multiple opportunities besides or weekly meetings to visit us. Parents, Guardians, and/or Pack Leaders are invited to contact us for all the details of our monthly featured event (see below) and more.

Why not try a NEW adventure this year? Scouting. Things might be different form a few years ago but the one thing that remains the same we are out in our community, out enjoying the outdoors, and learning new things.
