The 23rd Joseph M. Tronsky Memorial Annual International Conference “Indo-European Comparative Linguistics and Classical Philology” will be held on June 24–26, 2019 at the Institute for Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The conference is dedicated to a wide range of topics related to the fields of Indo-European Linguistics and Classical Philology.

Call for papers

The conference will last three days and have parallel sessions. 15 minutes will be allotted to each talk followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

Those who wish to participate in the work of the conference with a talk, are invited to submit an abstract or a complete paper. Priority will be given to those submissions that receive higher evaluation from the international team of anonymous reviewers. In case of acceptance, the submitted papers will be edited and published in a conference volume prior to the opening of the conference.

Practical information

Unfortunately, the organizers of the conference are unable to fund the travel and lodging expenses of participants and will be happy to provide letters of support that participants may require in order to apply for funding to their home institutions or other sources. The organizers offer help in acquiring the Russian visa, and all-around information support related to the visit to St. Petersburg.
