Privacy Policy — TripTracker

TripTracker is provided by Eldguards Software.
TripTracker is designed to help drivers manage trips, trip details, notes, reminders, images, and related workflow information. This Privacy Policy explains what the app stores, how it is used, and what is not shared.
Information Stored by the App
TripTracker may store information entered or created by the user, including:
- trip information
- trip details and reference numbers
- notes
- reminders
- optional images attached by the user
- other related workflow records created inside the app
This information is stored locally on the user’s device.
Camera Usage
TripTracker uses the device camera to allow users to capture images and attach them to trips and stops.
Camera access is only used when the user explicitly chooses to take a photo within the app.
Captured images are stored locally on the user’s device and are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared with Eldguards Software or any third parties.
Data Sharing
TripTracker does not sell user data.
TripTracker does not share user data, images, or trip records with third parties.
Data Collection by the Developer
Eldguards Software does not collect uploaded copies of the user’s trip records, notes, reminders, or images through TripTracker.
TripTracker does not currently use:
- user accounts or login
- cloud sync
- advertising SDKs
- third-party analytics services
Data Retention and Deletion
TripTracker stores working data locally on the user’s device until the user edits, deletes, exports, or removes that data, or uninstalls the app, subject to normal device and backup behavior outside the app’s control.
Because TripTracker does not maintain a developer-hosted account or cloud database for user records, Eldguards Software does not retain user trip records, notes, reminders, or images on developer servers.
Data Security
TripTracker stores its working data locally on the device. The security of that information depends in part on the security of the user’s device and any backups or exports the user chooses to make.
Children’s Privacy
TripTracker is not directed to children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If it is updated, the new version will be published with a revised effective date.
