Trip Price - Double Occupancy: To be determined. Tour prices may be subject to change due to currency fluctuation at the time of final payment.
Single Occupancy: Surcharge to be determined. Upon request, Walkstars can assist you to find a roommate, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Deposits: An initial deposit of to be determined is required to reserve your space.
Payments: Payments will be made in scheduled instalments. Final payment is due 60 days before departure. All payment transactions will be through PayPal which accepts debit or credit cards. The invoice with the PayPal link will be sent to you from One Percent Travel: Rare & Unique Experiences.
Alterations: We will make every effort to provide the hotels and experience described in the itinerary with the understanding that some things may change according to availability, events or seasonal dates, weather conditions or the discretion of our guides. Hotels of similar quality may be exchanged for those shown in the itinerary.
We keep tour prices low, without a big contingency fee, so prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuation, entry fee increases, necessary changes to accommodations and any increase in tax imposed by the government.
Travel Roommates and Single Supplements: There is a to be determined single occupancy surcharge. Upon request, Walkstars Abroad can assist you to find a roommate, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Air Transportation: You are responsible for making your own airline reservations. Please make sure that your reservation is CONFIRMED before making airline reservations.
Airport Transfers: One common, group transfer is included on arrival day and on departure day. Those who arrive on a different schedule may book their transportation with One Percent Travel: Rare & Unique Experiences at a reasonable, additional cost. Alternately, you could use any option you choose, such as the ADO bus, a taxi or car service.
Participation: You do not need to be a member of Walkstars North Shore Meetup to participate but membership is free and it is a great place to post tour photos and see local walking events and other tours as they are offered. https://www.meetup.com/walkstars/
Most days will be spent together as a group. On free days/evenings, the hosts will ensure that participants have one or more companions if desired.
Activity Level: The walking level will be moderate. Participants should be able to continuously walk 8 km (2-4 hours) in warm weather, sometimes on uneven terrain. There are a few activities that require more exertion, which are optional.
Cancellation and Refund Policies:
Walkstars Abroad is a community group and we plan and operate this tour as a service to our members. We require a certain number of participants to fund the tour so your commitment to going is essential. If people change their mind too late, the whole tour might have to be cancelled.
The following policies will help us successfully provide the tour:
The tour will be CONFIRMED and conducted when the minimum number of 10 guests has been reached.
The deposit is non-refundable. The total is non-refundable 60 days before departure. Trip cancellation insurance will protect you from unexpected situations. Since our goal is to successfully run the trip, a partial refund could be offered if you find a guaranteed, fully paid replacement participant.
No refunds for unused portions of the tour, or for no-shows.
Any cancellation must be in writing and delivered to Walkstars Abroad walkstarinfo@gmail.com.
What’s NOT included:
Any airborne transportation before, during or after the tour.
Meals other than the offered breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Optional activities.
Souvenirs or personal expenses.
Room service, drinks or beverages, telephone calls, gratuities, etcetera.
Airport transfers other than the included group transfer on the first and last day of the tour, at the time specified.
Visas or entry / departure taxes.
Any other expenses not specified on the tour description.
