TripSpend is developed and published by Mango Leaf Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how TripSpend collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.
TripSpend may collect or store the following information:
Profile information you enter, such as name, country, and home currency
Trip information, such as trip name, trip type, budget, start date, and end date
Expense information, such as expense name, amount, currency, category, vendor, payment source, and expense date
Attachment references or metadata for receipts or files you choose to add
Account information when you sign in with Google, such as your Google account identifier and email address
If you use Guest Mode, your data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Google, your app data may be stored in cloud services so it can be associated with your account.
We use your information to:
Help you track trips, expenses, budgets, and spending summaries
Save and restore your app data
Support Google Sign-In
Show currency conversions and expense totals
Improve app functionality and reliability
We do not sell your personal information.
TripSpend uses Google Sign-In to allow users to access account-based features. When you sign in, TripSpend may store your trip and expense data in cloud storage linked to your account.
TripSpend allows you to add receipt or file attachments to expenses. Attachment information is used only to help you organize your expenses. Do not upload or attach sensitive documents unless you are comfortable storing them in the app.
TripSpend may use network access to retrieve currency conversion information. Currency conversion is used only to calculate expense totals in your selected home currency.
TripSpend does not sell your data. We may share limited data only when necessary to operate the app, comply with legal requirements, prevent fraud or abuse, or use trusted service providers that help provide app functionality.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You may delete trips and expenses inside the TripSpend app at any time.
If you use Guest Mode, your trip and expense data is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data by deleting trips or expenses in the app, clearing the app’s data from your device settings, or uninstalling the app.
If you sign in with Google, you may request deletion of cloud-synced TripSpend data associated with your account by emailing mangoleafapps@gmail.com with the subject line “TripSpend Data Deletion Request.”
Please include the Google account email used with TripSpend. We will delete cloud-synced TripSpend data associated with that account, including profile, trip, expense, budget, and currency data.
Backup or export files that you saved, downloaded, emailed, or uploaded outside TripSpend must be deleted by you from the location where you stored them.
Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days.
TripSpend is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a new effective date.
