I am an astrophysicist currently based in Taipei, at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Academia Sinica (ASIAA). Starting summer 2025, I'm stationed at the JCMT as a visiting scientist. Before joining ASIAA I was a research fellow at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in München, Germany. I also spent a few years as a postdoctoral research associate in Durham, UK, and I completed my PhD in Hawaii. My main research interests are focused on formation and evolution of massive galaxies, in particular their active build-up phases that often appear as high-redshift dusty star-forming galaxies (DSFGs), or submillimeter galaxies (SMGs).
Junior researchers are welcome to join the team. Please contact me for further details.
