ConqApps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Trip Gauge mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
By downloading and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use While using our App, we may collect certain information to provide and improve our service to you.
A. Location Data (Crucial Functionality) To fulfill its primary purpose—calculating real-time speed, measuring average fuel consumption, and determining dynamic road incline—the App requires access to your device's precise location (GPS and network-based).
Foreground Service Location: When you tap the "START DRIVING" button, a visible persistent notification is launched. The App will collect and process your coordinates continuously even when the app is minimized, working in the background, or your screen is turned off.
Data Transmission: All location processing happens entirely locally on your device. We do not stream, upload, or store your coordinates on any external cloud server.
B. SharedPreferences (Local Storage & Vehicle Profiles) The App saves your vehicle profiles (including fuel type, gear type, base consumption, and fuel price), trip log summaries (distance, cost, average fuel economy), and speed limit configurations locally on your device's private storage (SharedPreferences). This data is used solely to provide accurate local telemetry simulations. This data remains on your phone and is deleted completely when you uninstall the App.
C. Device Permissions (Screen & Audio) To ensure driving safety and uninterrupted functionality, the App prevents your screen from sleeping while actively tracking a trip. Additionally, the App may generate local audio alerts for speed limits. We do not record any audio or access your device's microphone.
2. Third-Party Services and Advertisements The App integrates third-party SDKs that may collect information used to identify you. These services include:
Google AdMob (Google Play Services): We display banner advertisements within the App. Google AdMob may collect and process your device's Advertising ID (AD_ID), device cookies, and basic analytics data to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads.

3. Data Retention and Deletion
Local Data: Since we do not transmit your data to an external server, we do not own or maintain your historical logs. You have full control over your trip history and can clear it at any time using the "Clear History" button inside the App.
App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the App wipes all saved data, including vehicle profiles and trip history, from the device immediately.
4. Children's Privacy Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
