My name is Thais, I live in São Paulo city, I'm an enthusiastic and optimistic sales professional with 18 years of sales experience and 10 years as a sales leader for tech companies as Uber and Pinterest. 

I'm Brazilian, Portuguese native speaker, also fluent in English and Spanish. 

And I know my country very well because I have been traveling a lot in Brazil!

I also have traveled to more than 30 countries across Europe, Asia, South, and Central America. 

During my trips I’ve met many tourists, and often, I see that their Brazil itineraries can be improved a lot to ensure a more enriching experience. That’s why I’m sharing the best tips to help visitors truly enjoy Brazil and have a unique life time experience.

I’ve noticed that many people are eager to visit Brazil but aren’t sure where to begin. I’m here to help by recommending must-see places from my own experiences. While you’ll still need to do some research, having a clear idea of where to go is a great starting point!

With that in mind, I’ve decided to share the true gems of Brazil—or Brasil, in Portuguese, Brasil (with an "S"). And just a reminder: we don’t speak Spanish here—our language is Portuguese.

It’s not just because I’m Brazilian, but after traveling the world, I can confidently say that Brazil has it all: vibrant culture, diverse landscapes, and incredible experiences. However, Brazil is a huge country, and to fully enjoy it, you need to know where to go and how to get there.

I once made a friend in Guatemala, a traveler who had visited over 40 countries, but she had never been to Brazil. When I asked her why, she said, "Brazil seems so intimidating to me". On the other hand, I was contacted by a friend of a friend from Turkey who was in Brazil. Unfortunately, he had a rough start in São Paulo and ended up cutting his trip short. His challenges included choosing a neighborhood that didn’t suit his needs, struggling to buy a SIM card, and having difficulties communicating with locals.
