● Current Vice President of Training and Vendors of the GPS Volunteer Network (VNet) – responsible for training parent groups throughout our district on best practices, fundraising, nonprofit procedures, and financial accountability

● My passion for public education is built on strong partnerships among parents, students, and teachers. The community is only as vibrant as our education system.
● Fiscal responsibility, including wise use of tax dollars and intentional investments in our schools, teachers, and staff, is imperative to building trust and being accountable.
● The challenges we face as a community include learning loss from the pandemic, ensuring a positive and challenging learning environment, adapting and using technology for maximum effectiveness, and early identification and intervention of challenges for our students. I bring a tenacity for problem-solving and a collaborative approach to each opportunity for improvement.
