What is the Generator Program?
Tribal Electric LLC will deliver and set up a solar generator for you when you have a power outage. When the utility company restores your power, we will pick up the generator.
This service is specifically for King County Black and Indigenous folks. Paid for through the King County Racism as a Public Health Crisis Grant and is FREE OF CHARGE!

We have SIX Generac Solar Generators. THREE are 2000 watt hours and THREE are 1000 watt hours. These generators will be delivered already charged and ready for your equipment to be plugged into them. There is no gasoline, no propane. They are 100% safe to use indoors. They do not emit any smell and does not have any liquids that you need to worry about spilling. They are on the heavy side, so think of the best place for us to set it up before we arrive so you don't have to move it around.

Right when your power goes out in your home, request a generator. We cannot accept PRE-requests or keep a waiting list.

Joanne Alcantara, the owner of Tribal Electric LLC submitted information about how and why we started this business, our family, our community and the idea for the generator program. She won funds through King County's Racism as a Public Health Crisis Grant that pays for the generators and the labor us to set up the program and to get them out to our community.
