About Me

I am a Senior Economist for the Education, Workforce, and Income Security (EWIS) team at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. My research interests lie within the fields of labor economics, the economics of education, and public economics. Specifically, I study the effects of policies intended to improve access to higher education, such as federal financial aid programs and test-optional admissions. I also explore topics in labor market discrimination, e.g., fairness attitudes toward discriminatory actions.Â
