I am Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Oberlin College. Prior to Oberlin, I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Kansas under Professor Daniel J. Hernández. Before that, I got a B.S. in mathematics from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, a small liberal arts college in the middle of beautiful Amish Country.
My research interest is in Commutative Algebra and include understanding and measuring singularities in positive prime characteristic using ideas from number theory, integer programming, combinatorics, and the algebraic theory of differential operators.
