The II Conference Trends in Mathematical Sciences is an event with a special focus on international cooperation between Latin America and Europe. Organized by the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM), the conference reaches its second edition after a successful debut in 2024, in Erlangen, Germany.
The 2026 edition will take place at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (ICMC) – University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos campus, from February 5 to 7, 2026.
This event will bring together leading researchers in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, and related fields, aiming to showcase cutting-edge research, discuss emerging trends, and foster new collaborations. The program is designed to provide a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, spanning from theoretical advances to transformative applications.
In addition to plenary talks and thematic sessions, the conference will also include poster sessions, offering participants the opportunity to present ongoing research, exchange ideas, and engage in constructive discussions in an informal and collaborative environment.
