Nicaragua is known for its lively cultures, wonderful food, and beautiful beaches. This vibrant Latin American nation has the charm of Hispanic culture and a stunning geography. At first glance, it seems like a Central American paradise.
When you take a closer look, you’ll see that many of the people of Nicaragua are in ruin. Forty-eight percent of the population lives below the poverty line, and almost eighty percent live on less than $2 a day.
Through extreme poverty, the Gospel of Jesus is liberating the country of Nicaragua, turning addicts to disciple makers and legalistic pastors to Holy Spirit guided men of God. Come partner with the Church to breathe the Holy Spirit back into a culture that needs the touch of God.
Sept 30 - Oct 7, 2017
Our ministry partners are focused on Christ-centered community development in Granada, Nicaragua. While spreading the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit is at the core of everything they do, the guiding principles of humility, love, forgiveness, and unity are greatly emphasized in their daily relationships as they make disciples via various community projects.
On this mission you will stay in close proximity with our ministry partners and alongside local Nicaraguans you may: visit local prisons to share the Good News of Jesus, work hand-in-hand with locals to develop deep relationships and encourage them in their daily struggles, play sports and learn the Bible with children from the barrio, share your testimony with the local boxing community, share in Bible studies with groups of men or women, worship with local believers, visit and care for the elderly, pray for the sick and/or intercede on behalf of Nicaragua.
