“Shrink‑a‑Link” is a Chrome extension whose sole purpose is to convert the URL of the page you are viewing into a TinyURL and copy it to your clipboard. We value your privacy and collect only the minimal information required to perform this task.

3. How We Use Information

The URL you submit is used exclusively to request a shortened link from TinyURL’s official API. The resulting TinyURL is copied to your clipboard for your convenience.

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. The only third‑party request is the HTTPS POST to TinyURL’s API to fulfill the shortening action; the URL is transmitted securely and not stored by us.

5. Data Retention

Shrink‑a‑Link retains no user data. Once the TinyURL is generated and copied, the original URL is immediately removed from extension memory.

6. Data Security

All communication with TinyURL’s API occurs over HTTPS. Because no data is stored, there is no persistent data to secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Shrink‑a‑Link does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. The extension is suitable for all audiences, but if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
