This Privacy Policy explains how TravelWake ("the App") accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the TravelWake Android application distributed through Google Play.
TravelWake may access certain information required to provide its features.

Information you voluntarily enter into the App, such as belongings or to-do/packing information

TravelWake does not request or collect information that is not necessary for the functionality you use.
TravelWake uses device location to provide its journey and destination-alert functionality.
Location may be used to:
Determine your current location during a journey
Monitor your progress toward a selected destination
Determine when you are approaching your destination
Provide destination alerts
Provide location-related features that you have chosen to use
If you enable destination monitoring, TravelWake may access your location while the App is running in the background, including when the App is minimized or the device screen is locked.
Background location is used to allow TravelWake to continue monitoring your journey and provide destination alerts when you are not actively viewing the App.
TravelWake does not use background location for unrelated purposes.
Before requesting background location permission, TravelWake provides an in-app prominent disclosure explaining that background location access is required for destination monitoring and allows you to choose whether to continue.
You can deny or revoke location permissions at any time through Android device settings. If you do so, destination-monitoring and other location-dependent features may not work correctly.
Location information is used only for providing the location-dependent functionality of TravelWake.
For example, when you select a destination, TravelWake may use your current location and journey progress to determine when you are approaching that destination and trigger the appropriate alert.
TravelWake does not use your location for advertising purposes.
TravelWake does not sell your location information.
TravelWake may use Google Maps or related Google location/map services to provide map, destination, route, or location-related functionality.
When you use these features, the relevant information may be processed by Google according to Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
TravelWake does not control Google's independent processing of information.
TravelWake may allow you to enter information such as:
A destination
Journey-related information
Belongings
To-do or packing items
Other information required by features you choose to use
This information is used to provide the corresponding functionality of the App.
TravelWake may use notifications, alarms, sounds, vibration, or other device features to provide journey and destination alerts.
These alerts are generated to provide the features you have enabled.
You can control notification and related permissions through your Android device settings.
Some TravelWake features may require an Internet connection.
Certain functionality may continue to operate without an Internet connection when the required information and functionality are available locally on the device.
TravelWake does not intentionally collect additional personal information simply because the device is connected to the Internet.
If advertising services such as Google AdMob are enabled in the App, advertising providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable settings.
If advertising is not enabled in the version of TravelWake you are using, TravelWake does not collect information for advertising purposes.
TravelWake may use technical diagnostics or crash-reporting services when enabled to identify crashes, errors, performance problems, and other technical issues.
Such information may include technical information about the device, application version, operating system, and crash or diagnostic information.
These services are used to maintain and improve the reliability of the App.
If a particular analytics or crash-reporting service is not enabled in the current version of TravelWake, the App does not intentionally transmit analytics information to that service.
TravelWake stores information only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant functionality or as required by applicable law.
Information that is stored locally on your device remains subject to your device's storage and security controls.
If you uninstall TravelWake, locally stored App data may be removed by Android, subject to Android's behavior and any data that may have been separately stored by third-party services.
TravelWake does not sell your personal information.
TravelWake does not share your personal information with third parties for their own unrelated marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to provide specific App functionality, such as:
Google Maps or Google location services
Google Play services
Notification or Android system services

TravelWake is not specifically directed toward children under the age required by applicable privacy laws.
