I am currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), USA. Previously, I finished my Ph.D. at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea in Feb 2016. My doctoral dissertation was to develop a high-fidelity fluid structure interaction (FSI) simulation that simultaneously considers the influence of aero-hydrodynamic coupling the dynamic motion of an floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT). My dissertation not only focused on CFD model based on overlapping grid technique, but also attempted to research into the conventional approaches (e.g., blade element momentum method, generalized dynamic wake method, and potential-based panel approach) for a floating wind turbine design. I also received my M.Sc. from this university in 2012 and I received my B.Sc. from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 2008.

Research areas: Fluid-Structure Interaction, Wind & Wave Energies, Aeroelasticity, Computational Fluid Mechanics, Composite Structures.
