Introduction
Your privacy is important to us.
This app is designed to operate privately: it does not require you to create an account, it does not send your personal data to external servers, and it does not share your information unless you explicitly choose to do so (for example, when you share content through other apps).
By installing and using this app, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. This document explains what data is used, how it is processed, what permissions the app requires, which third-party technologies are used, and your rights as a user.
This app allows users to manage consent in a granular way for:
• Advertising (Google AdMob + Consent Management Platform – UMP)
• Analytics & Stability (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics)
You can modify or revoke these consents at any time through Settings → Data Control within the app.
This Policy complies with applicable data protection regulations, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/UK-GDPR), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), EEA data protection laws, as well as GDPR-inspired legislation. It also considers the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, USA) and the Brazilian Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), where applicable.
If there is any discrepancy between translations, the Spanish version shall prevail.
Speech recognition is performed entirely on your device using the Vosk engine.
Audio format conversion (if you import or share audio files) is processed locally through FFmpegKit.
Text translation (after transcription) is also performed on your device using Google ML Kit (offline mode, when models are downloaded), without sending voice content or resulting text to cloud servers.
At no time are audio or text sent to servers owned by the developer or to third parties, unless you explicitly share the content through another app.
However, if you use the text-to-speech (TTS) reading feature, please note:
Some voices configured on your device may require an internet connection and process text online, depending on the TTS engine provider (e.g., Google online voices).
You may change the TTS engine or selected voice from Settings → Text-to-Speech on your device.
The app allows users to download models for transcription, translation, and text-to-speech (TTS) so the app can work fully offline:
Transcription Models (Vosk):
Users can choose between different voice recognition models (from ~50MB to ~2GB). These models are downloaded only with explicit consent and stored locally on the device.
Translation Models (Google ML Kit):
Translation models may also be downloaded and used offline. Although Google manages the download internally, the app always requests user permission before starting any download.
TTS Voice Data:
If you select specific TTS voices, additional packages may be required depending on the selected engine (e.g., Google TTS). The app provides a direct link so users can manage or delete these packages from the Android system settings.
Downloaded models can be removed from the app’s settings, except TTS voice data, which must be managed from the TTS engine app on the device.
Audio recorded with the microphone, audio imported from your device, and audio shared from other apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram) are automatically transcribed and stored in a local database (Room) on your device.
This data includes transcription text and optional metadata (such as title, participant, labels, or notes added by you). All such data is stored exclusively on your device, with no external server synchronization.
Audio files are stored in the app’s private internal storage (getFilesDir). You can access, manage, or delete them from within the app. When deleting a transcription, the associated audio files are also deleted.
TTS usage depends on the selected voice:
If you select an online voice, text may be processed on the provider’s servers.
If you select an offline voice, according to the provider’s documentation, processing occurs fully on the device.
đź”’ Only you have access to this content. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly choose to share it.
The app does not send or share content you generate (e.g., recordings or transcripts) with third parties unless you choose to do so.
Sharing content is always manual and intentional, using the operating system’s sharing options.
Once content is shared externally (e.g., WhatsApp, email, cloud storage), it becomes subject to the recipient’s privacy policy, which is outside the app’s control.
Note: Technical usage data may be sent to external providers (e.g., Google/Firebase) for analytics, ads or app functionality—but only when the user has granted consent or when legally required. Your personal content generated inside the app is never shared with such providers.
The app requests the following Android system permissions. Each permission has a specific and legitimate purpose required for the app to function. These permissions are not used to collect personal data nor to send your content to third parties without your consent.
1. RECORD_AUDIO
Used to capture speech from the microphone and convert it into text using the local Vosk engine. Without this permission, voice transcription is not possible.
2. INTERNET
Allows the app to connect to external servers when necessary for the following purposes:
Downloading models for speech recognition, translation, and text-to-speech (TTS)
Showing ads through Google AdMob (unless ads have been removed via purchase)
Verifying purchases through Google Play Billing
Checking for available app updates
Downloading and applying consent configurations (Google UMP)
Sending crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics and usage statistics to Firebase Analytics — only if the user has granted consent or when required to keep the app functioning securely
This permission does not imply sending your voice recordings, transcripts, or personal content without your explicit action.
When data is sent to external services, it is limited strictly to the purposes stated (e.g., crash diagnostics or analytics, if enabled).
3. ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Allows the app to detect whether the device has internet access. This helps manage:
Model downloads
Ad display
Purchase validation
Other operations listed under the INTERNET permission
4. FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Required to run the “Voice-to-Voice” feature, which needs an ongoing foreground notification while playing audio in the background. Not used for any unrelated background tasks.
5. FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK
Required on Android 13+ for background audio playback with a notification when using the “Voice-to-Voice” feature.
6. POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used to display local notifications to the user, such as:
Countdown during Voice-to-Voice
Audio playback status
On Android 13+, this permission must be explicitly granted.
7. com.android.vending.BILLING
Allows the app to integrate Google Play Billing for in-app purchases, such as:
Removing ads
Unlocking premium features
Payments are processed securely by Google Play. The app does not access your payment information or email.
8. com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID
Allows access to the device’s advertising ID. Used only to display ads through Google AdMob, either personalized or non-personalized according to your consent settings.
The identifier is never used to collect personal data nor shared with third parties outside Google AdMob without your consent.
In regulated regions (EU/EEA/UK/CH), the advertising ID is not accessed until you grant consent via Google’s official UMP consent screen. If you do not consent, only non-personalized ads are shown or ads may be limited according to regional laws.
The app may occasionally connect to the internet for the purposes described above: model downloads, app updates, online TTS (if selected), ads, and purchase verification.
These connections do not include transferring identifiable personal data, email addresses, or your voice recordings.
To ensure that no text is ever sent for TTS processing in the cloud, use offline TTS voices instead of online ones.
If you contact support via the app or by email, your email address and any information you voluntarily provide will be used solely to respond to your inquiry or provide technical assistance.
It will not be stored, reused for other purposes, nor shared with third parties.
If ads have not been removed through purchase, the app displays advertising provided by Google AdMob.
In regions where required (e.g., EU & UK), the app shows Google’s Consent Management Platform (CMP) screen so you can choose between personalized or non-personalized ads. You may change this choice at any time from:
Settings → Data Control → Manage Ad Consent
Outside the EU/UK, this consent screen may not appear; in those regions Google applies the appropriate ad settings according to local regulations.
More info: https://policies.google.com/privacy
In-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features are processed securely via Google Play Billing:
Payments are handled exclusively by Google
The developer cannot access your payment information or your Google Play email
The app may periodically validate purchases only to enable or maintain the appropriate features
Both AdMob and Play Billing are subject to Google’s Terms and Privacy Policies.
The app adapts consent requests according to the user’s regional legal framework:
EU, EEA, UK & Switzerland: CMP (UMP) consent is required before using data for personalized ads or analytics. Analytics is opt-in (off until permission is granted).
California (CCPA): Users can opt-out of the “sale or sharing” of personal information for advertising purposes.
Brazil (LGPD): Consent is requested where required for personalization.
Other countries: Consent rules follow local regulations.
Users may modify their choices at any time via Settings → Data Control.
The app integrates third-party technologies and libraries (with their respective licenses) to provide features such as voice recognition, offline translation, animations, advertising, and in-app purchases.
By using the app, you also agree to the terms and policies of those services where applicable.

Important Note:
The app does not send audio recordings or transcripts to third parties automatically. Some services may receive technical data, identifiers, or usage information only as required and/or with your consent under applicable law.
This app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC, to improve the stability, security, and performance of the application.
Firebase Analytics: used to obtain aggregated usage statistics and improve the app. It is not used to create individual profiles or directly identify the user. In regions where consent is legally required (such as EU/EEA/UK/CH), analytics will remain disabled until the user enables it (opt-in).
Firebase Crashlytics: used to detect errors and technical failures in order to improve stability. Crashlytics is always enabled, but if the user has not granted consent for analytics:
– No user identifiers will be set
– No custom keys that could link data to a user will be assigned
– Data sent will be strictly technical and minimized
Users may modify these options from:
Settings → Data Control → “Allow anonymous usage statistics”
More information: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The app does not automatically collect or share your audio recordings or transcriptions. All information you save (such as audio files, transcription history, labels, or metadata) is stored only on your device. You retain full control over this data and may access, modify, or delete it at any time.
If you reside in a jurisdiction with data protection regulations—such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – European Union, EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or the Brazilian Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD)—your rights to access, rectify, transfer, and erase personal data will be respected in accordance with the applicable law.
The app may display advertisements via Google AdMob. Depending on your region’s regulations and your consent choices, AdMob may collect data (such as device identifiers or the advertising ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. Any data collected is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
In-app purchases are handled exclusively through Google Play Billing. The developer does not have access to your payment information or the email associated with your Google Play account. For more information on how Google processes data, refer to its Privacy Policy.
The app may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for usage analytics and crash reporting:
Firebase Analytics is only activated if the user gives consent in regions where consent is legally required.
Firebase Crashlytics is used to maintain app stability and security; when analytics consent is not granted, it runs only with minimal technical data and without personal identifiers.
The Text-to-Speech (TTS) component allows text to be converted into speech on the device:
If you choose an online engine or voice, text may be processed temporarily on the provider’s servers.
If you choose an offline engine or voice, processing takes place entirely on your device.
đź”’ Note: The app does not send your audio files, transcripts, or personal content to third parties without your explicit action. Any data sent to external services is limited to technical or operational purposes (such as analytics or advertising) and always respects your privacy settings and applicable laws.
If you choose to contact support from within the app, only the information you voluntarily provide (such as your email address, device model, or Android version) will be sent. This information will be used solely to respond to your request or provide technical assistance, and will not be stored, reused for other purposes, or shared with third parties.
Users may withdraw or modify their consent at any time from within the app, without affecting access or use of the app’s core features.
Available options:
Advertising (AdMob):
You can switch between personalized and non-personalized ads from:
Settings → Data Control → Manage Ad Consent
From the same section, you can reopen the official consent (CMP) screen when available in your region.
Analytics (Firebase Analytics):
You can enable or disable the sending of usage statistics from:
Settings → Data Control → Allow anonymous usage statistics
When disabled, the app stops sending analytics data to Firebase.
Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics):
Crash report submission can be disabled from:
Settings → Data Control → Allow anonymous usage statistics
When disabled, Crashlytics continues to operate but only with minimal technical data and without identifiers.
Text-to-Speech (TTS) online vs offline:
You can avoid cloud processing by selecting offline voices from:
Settings → Text-to-Speech configuration
The app does not select a default voice. The user must manually choose which TTS engine and voice type (online or offline) to use.
If an online voice is selected, text may be processed temporarily on the TTS provider’s servers, subject to its privacy policies.
If an offline voice is selected, according to the provider’s documentation, synthesis is performed entirely on the device without sending text to the cloud.
Effects of withdrawal:
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.
Changing or withdrawing consent will not affect access to the app’s essential features—only optional data processing activities.
Because the developer does not have access to personal data that could identify the user, no historical record of individual consent decisions is stored. Only the current privacy preference state is retained for functional purposes.
The developer may modify this Privacy Policy at any time.
When significant changes are made, users will be informed within the app or via an update in the store, indicating the date of the latest modification.
If the modifications affect data processing activities that require consent, the user will be asked to provide consent again.
Continued use of the app after the updated version of the Policy is published implies acceptance of the changes, except in cases where renewed consent is legally required.
